2006 Standards Forms (formal education products only)

1. Complete one online form for each education product you submit. You can link to a list of the information you will need to provide in this form [Word , PDF].

Frequently Asked Question: Why is this form so long!

Answer: When a learning resource passes the NASA Science Mission Directorate- Earth Science Education Product Review, several things happen:

• NASA Earth Science Education Catalog Listing . Products that pass the review are listed in the Earth Science Education Catalog, which is distributed to thousands of educators nationwide.
• DLESE . Products that pass the review are also added to the Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) at http://www.dlese.org as part of the NASA-reviewed collection – a select group of education resources that have passed the NASA review.
• Distribution by NASA . Products that pass the review will be considered for distribution by NASA at national education workshops and conferences by NASA Science Mission Directorate- Earth Science.

We collect the information needed for all of these purposes up-front in this submission form. We also send a copy of the completed submission form to reviewers as background information for each product they review.

The information you provide is extremely important as it will be forwarded to reviewers and, if the product is approved, will be used as the basis for NASA publications, such as the NASA Earth Science Education Catalog. Our reviewers consistently comment that the background information provided in these forms is very helpful to them in completing their evaluations.

2. Send 12 copies of the completed form along with twelve (12***) copies of your product, no later than November 27, 2006 to the address below. Note: If your product is a WWW site, you do not need to provide copies, only the completed submission form referencing the website address.
NOTE: You must complete and submit a Product Submission Form Checklist when you submit a product.
